Boling ISD

Like many schools in Texas, Boling ISD has faced many difficulties related to their facilities. The administration and staff had to find a way to refocus efforts back to their  student’s education. It was time to fight the challenges, Boling ISD teamed up with Way Companies and utilized Way’s program to minimize equipment breakdowns, reduce comfort issues, and ensure a healthy and safe learning environment.

Buckholts ISD

Along with the rest of the school districts in Texas, Buckholts has had their fair share of budget issues. As a district it was known that there needed to be upgrades done to their infrastructure, but budget woes hindered the process. At a stand-still, the district needed a resolution.

Burton ISD

The rural city of Burton is quintessential Texas. Brazos Belle Restaurant on Main Street harkens back to an old-time saloon while the city’s Cotton Gin Museum boasts being the oldest operating Cotton Gin in America. One look at the city gives the beholder a sense of rich history. In fact, the town’s high school, built in 1937, was recently named a historical landmark by the State, but like so many school buildings in the Burton Independent School District, the campus was in much need of repair.

Concordia Lutheran HS

Concordia Lutheran High School was rewarded for their energy efficciency measures with a $22,718 incentive from CenterPoint Energy’s SCORE Program, which help schools save energy and money.

Groveton ISD

Groveton ISD decided to not let a tough economy prevent campus improvements from taking place. With 700 students and 10 buildings, Groveton ISD struggled with high energy costs. The school district partnered with Way to solve their ever-growing problem and got more than expected when they received an annual energy savings of $58,000, as well as an upgraded infrastructure.

Hempstead ISD

With school budgets being cut all over Texas, Hempstead ISD, like many others, needed to find a way to upgrade their infrastructure without using any upfront capital. Fortunately, Way’s Green Solutions Team was able to help the district replace their outdated lighting, inefficient and antiquated heating and air conditioning equipment, and provide Hempstead the necessary resources to better control its campus.

Lago Vista ISD

Lago Vista ISD has come a long way from the single building district it began as back in 1895. Today, Lago Vista has grown to be one of the best school districts in the State. But, like most independent school districts, they faced the challenges of an aging infrastructure. With limited capital, Lago Vista felt they wouldn’t be able to accomplish much of anything when it came to upgrading their facilities.

Lovelady ISD

The main focus for Lovelady was to upgrade their school district’s infrastructure, reduce the operational budget and reduce energy usage. New Waverly ISD

John O’Brien, Superintendent and former student of Van Vleck ISD, began looking for a unique way to upgrade the district’s infrastructure, while also reducing their energy and operational costs. After learning more about Way’s Performance Contracting program, Mr. O’Brien knew it was the only solution.

Texas Wesleyan University

Texas Wesleyan University partnered with The Way Companies on a campus-wide infrastructure redevelopment performance contract. The project is self-funded, and over the fifteen year term of the agreement will save over $12,000,000.00, which will be used to fund the campus improvements.
